The great Bajan bus tour of 2010

I don't have a clue what I want to say so I figure I'll just start writing and something will come. Last weekend I went on a bus tour around Barbados. For pics from the tour see my Photostream here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43050968@N06/. While touring I noticed a few things.
  • Sometimes it's easy to forget what a beautiful country I live in. It's important to occasionally stop and just look around. Of course it will look drab if your perspective is limited to your house, the office and the traffic you are sitting in.
  • The photography course I took DEFINITELY helped. I was hopeless with a camera before. I have now graduated to mediocre. Next stop, competent.
  • What.The.Heck is the deal with teenage boys and skinny jeans? Not just any skinny jeans mind you, skinny jeans in the loudest colours they can find. It looks ABSURD! The pants legs are as narrow as my sleeve. A security guard, who I happened to overhear, said that girls are now unable to find skinny jeans in any of the stores because the "boys" are getting to them first. I feel unwell. I can't discuss this any further.
I also want to say thanks to the Passion Network for organizing a great bus tour, and please don't wait for another year to do it again.
